Charlie has amassed countless hours in the discipline of estate planning, compliance and administration. He has also had extensive training and experience in international taxation. During his early years with the firm, he was our foremost expert in systems and procedures for construction companies, law firms and medical practices, and was the lead audit and tax partner for those types of clients.

As one of the two original partners of Gunnip & Company, Charlie has more than 50 years of experience in public accounting with our firm. He has served as Managing Partner and co-authored one of the earliest AICPA Audit and Accounting Guides for Construction Contractors.

Robert D. Mosch, Jr., CPA, CVA

Areas of Focus
Bob provides the firm with an extensive audit background including the audit of not-for-profit organizations and governmental entities, as well as audit and consulting work with private schools, manufacturing and construction entities. Bob heads the firm's government, university, private school and not-for-profit practice as well as for-profit entities in various industries. Bob is well qualified to provide insight in operational efficiencies and internal control improvements. Bob is also part of a team that heads up the firm's business valuation services, becoming a Certified Valuation Analyst in 1999. He is frequently a guest speaker on audit topics before various associations.

With more than 30 years of public accounting experience, Bob is a co-managing partner. He has been a partner at Gunnip & Company since 1988.

His memberships consist of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, including their Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Bob graduated from the University of Delaware.
Community Service
Bob is the treasurer and current member of the finance committee of the Delaware Association of the Blind. In the past he has served as president for the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a former elected member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Council, representing the State of Delaware. Bob is past president of Wilmington West Rotary Club and past treasurer of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Delaware.

Clifford H. Hunter, CPA

Cliff provides the firm with considerable experience in accounting, auditing, taxes, business valuations and management advisory services, particularly in the areas of service-related organizations such as law firms and medical practices, nonprofit organizations and technology related issues. He is a diplomat in the American College of Forensic Accounting. He has been an expert witness in business valuations and other matters.

His diversified background in service to these businesses and organizations includes numerous audits, reviews, compilations and business consulting engagements. Additionally, John possesses a significant amount of experience in corporate and individual taxation.

Beginning his professional career with Gunnip & Company in 1983, John became a partner with the firm in 1999.

Mike has extensive experience providing valuation and consulting services to closely-held companies. In addition, he has provided merger and acquisition services to both acquiring and target companies.

Don focuses on all aspects of a client's business, but takes a primary interest in those areas affecting tax. His work with both individuals and entities has afforded him a very broad experience in tax planning, solution implementation and compliance. The clients he has assisted include individuals, partnerships, S Corps, C Corps and Trusts. The services he and his team provide include, but are not limited to, assistance with audits (IRS and State), state nexus issues and studies, return preparation, entity choice, planning for retirement, and assistance in foreign tax compliance.

Don has more than 22 years of professional experience which includes working with KPMG and Corporation Service Company in addition to the experiences gained while at Gunnip & Company where he has practiced in multiple areas of tax since 1995. Don has also guest lectured before Widener University and the Tax Executive Institute on the use of Special Purpose Entities in Delaware.

He is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and Delaware and a member of the American Institute of CPA's, the Delaware Society of CPA's, the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce, and the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Tax and Holding Company committee. He has also been an officer and on the board of directors of the Estate Planning Council of Delaware where he currently serves as Secretary and most recently as Treasurer.

Katherine L. Silicato, CPA

Kathi has considerable experience in audit and accounting, corporate taxation and pension services in the areas of construction, professional service companies, tax-exempt organizations, and colleges and universities. He has managed large volume compliance functions for multinational corporate groups and served as tax planning project coordinator, responsible for the analysis and implementation of complex tax planning strategies.

Scott has more than 20 years of federal, state, and international tax experience gained while working for companies such as Thorn EMI, HIMONT and Delmarva Power. Among his roles at HIMONT, he was responsible for U.S. tax compliance of foreign operations. During his tenure at Thorn EMI, Scott developed and implemented a tax-planning model for U.S. corporate taxes.
