Michael has been with the firm for thirty years and specializes in audits, reviews, agreed-upon procedures and consulting engagements. He works with companies of all sizes in a variety of industries including professional services, distribution, construction, retail, real estate and not-for-profits. Mike is also a Certified Valuation Analyst, working with his clients during the entire life of the business from acquisition to sale of the business.

Katherine L. Silicato, CPA

Kathi provides audit, accounting and tax services to a variety of businesses including construction, law firms, and not-for-profit organizations. She leads the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan practice and specializes in the audits of retirement plans. Kathi is the representative for the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and the Government Audit Quality Center of the AICPA.

George has more than 25 years of diversified experience with the firm. He oversees audits, reviews, compilations, consulting engagement and taxes in a wide range of industries as well as not for profit organizations and private schools.

Jim gets his energy by meeting, talking and working directly with clients. He listens to what clients are saying as it is important to understand their issues before giving tax advice.

She specializes in hands-on tax planning all year long, not just at tax time. She understands her client’s needs for technology support in accessing financial reports quickly, which led her to become a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

John is involved with tax preparation, tax compliance, tax planning, notice resolution, and general tax consulting for private companies, small-business clients, and individuals. John joined Gunnip & Company in 2021, bringing over 20 years of experience. His other areas of expertise include estates and trusts.

John enjoys meeting and talking to clients, and is a problem solver. He is always glad when he can put a client at ease during difficult situations.

John is from Cherry Hill, NJ where he spends time with his wife and children, and enjoys bowling. He has bowled seven perfect games in his bowling career.
